Astronomical Twilight Poem by Mitchell Greenwood

Astronomical Twilight

Rating: 5.0

Astronomical twilight
Is the time of night
Just before dawn breaks
And the constellations
Are about to fade

If I so happen to be awake
At that time, I will gaze upward
Whilst I think of you
And our love

A love so astronomical really
When I think about it
How we came to meet
And all we've shared thus far

Our hearts, bodies, souls
Dreams, hopes, fears
Good, bad, ugly
And through it all, the love remains

Everpresent and luminous
As certain as astronomical twilight
