Asymmetric
we should do everything,
to build up their ego,
teach them to walk and talk
feed and clothe,
take pride and joy, laughter and fun
in their growing up
hopefully have not manipulated
too much, expecting no repayment
they tear down our image
block out the shadow,
standng on their own feet
cut the cord, become independent
spead their wings to freely fly on their own
