At The Threshold Poem by Debalina Roychowdhury

At The Threshold

Words came halting from the midst of eternity.
Loved words,
Cared words,
Intense n stupefied.
Can't u hear the shingle as they tread.
Pearls burst at their feet.
The oozing glitters shower
Still lonely sleep in bower
I forgot for what I seek.
But the touch tender
And the frangrant gaze
Silhouettes in the Mystic maze
Survives, lives and breathes.
Still some more words unheard..
Some stay unfelt.
I fancy in my reverie deep
Those profound thirsty lips
Untouched with care, it sips
The goblet brink recieves
The last love-laden kiss.
