At The Window Poem by Yannis Voultos

At The Window

Rating: 5.0

A frame my window
A painting, night of the city
The lights twinkle
White yellow blue,
In my mind twinkle
Rewards out there

In the window double-pane
It insulates me
It prevents me from exiting
Getting into the painting
Into the others’ lives
The locked ones
