The day our eyes met,
The day our hearts merged,
And we felt in love.

Iwas in alpha house,
Along oginga odinga street, you and your friends,
What your hips said,
Made me to reckon with Shakira,
Surey hips don't lie!

I never knew your name, but my fien,
Could not allow for patience,
My conscience advised my tong'ue to do the inquiry,
Only to be told, that you were the Atieno,
The beauty queen from lakeside.

Since that fatefull day,
Whenever it is december, i am always glad,
To celebrate the anniversary of our love,
And to sing each other love songs,
Surely, i will cherish you forever!
