Au Revoir Chandra - Poem by alex haywood

Namaste delight
delight that had
moved my heart
I've finally left.
The feelings
sandpapered so long
finally rubbed out
by brush of lips
with no flame
on a cold floor
while the hound
had more affection
for a tired
fire
