OK - finally got around to giving mundane bio info. My father is a Texan and my mother is from Turkey so that makes me Texish I guess (or Turksan?) I grew up half in the US and half there and lived in different places so I don't know where to call home anymore. Moved to Ft. Lauderdale from Phoenix where my father had retired and where I ended up going to college so that will serve just as well. ... more »

Isn't it wonderful
that when it's time to go
you don't
and when it's time to come
you do
It's nice isn't it,
when I put out my arm
at the top of the morning
I encounter you
and so great that when we have
seriousness
in the spaces in between
I encounter you again
so amazing, right?
that when I look at you
I see me
and in me, there you are
so sweet really,
that when we sleep
I breathe
in your smile
and in the morning
there it is on my lips
and I give it back, willingly
to you
