Australian Heritage - Poem by Kylie Rowe
Poet's Notes about The Poem
Our family lived for seven years in the frigid northern midwest, where even the summer sun was so mild, sunscreen was unneeded and winter days were so short that sunlight was a rare treasure. Northern California reintroduced us to our Australian heritage- hence the above poem! 'Sun.....screen' is a staple in our house now!
