Autonomic Inversions. Poem by Stephen S. Yeandle

Autonomic Inversions.

Strengthened by weakness.
Weakened by strength.

Infinite wheel of insecurity.

Spinning, spinning,
spinning in space.

Repositioning then back in place.

Judging the depth of the abyss,
immeasurable telemetry;
understood.

Elusive autonomy,
dependent need.

Those remarkably indistinct
do and don'ts.
for their sake

Little substance
just a requirement.

Standards are doubled.

Horses Changed,
amid the stream.

Round and round the carousel.

Indignation, self-esteem.
Succeeding,
deprivation and depression;
sadly convertible,

A reversible polarity.
