Autumn Poem by Dr Shamim ali

Autumn

As I amble through the mystic, dancing leaves
Their splendid, colorful magnificence alluring my mind into a trance
As I stroll with indulgent eyes, thinking of this ephemeral treasure
I walk through a Divine show; capturing the scene in my sight
As autumn leaves of every hue float down all- around my feet, buoying me up
Leaves so light, they sidle on discreetly, going downwards, touching yet so intangible!
Trees change colors, beautiful array of different colored foliage
Dropping off into my lawn the bright reds and purples, Oh I see all the luminescent colors
Canopied with tangerine colors, gently blowing with every breeze, pleasing hues of all shades
Autumn's fiery hue displayed with a gentle breeze
Leaves jingle lightly, sharing notes of sweet opus
Astounding and pleasant, relinquish to the cold
So momentarily does autumn come, little by little bids adieu!
