Autumn In The Cairngorm Mountains. Poem by Michael Cochrane

Autumn In The Cairngorm Mountains.

Amber birch trees, surrounded by heathered ground and mossy ancient stones.
The mountains stand in golden hues lit by the autumnal sun.
The deer stand majestic against the horizon, the eagles soar in the copper skies.
Scotland has a rich tapestry of scenery which lifts the spirit.
