Autumn Leaf Poem by J. G. Burton

Autumn Leaf

Rating: 5.0

There's beauty in your death,
little autumn leaf—
an agony of color
in your gentle autumn grief.

A life's potential stolen,
it's time to drift and turn
and fade into the nascence
of the flames in which you burn.
