Autums Poem by Azure Critic

Autums

my melancholy is shimmering

in Sunset Lane, golden maple leaves rustle

and the flowers in your dress glitter

my green bike is jumping, the red tree is surreal,

and people say the red scarf you gifted me is too warm for autumn

they do not know wearing it i can still welcome chills

autumn here presents a feast of colors,

i wait for you- a moving violet

i play with shades of pink, the most ridiculous color i can ever think of

i open the fridge, full of food

you remind me i did taste autumn different

the hands, the nostrils, the tongue, and your invitation to eat

"ăn đi cho ấm bụng"

a Vietnamese phrase that is hard to be translated into English
