You whose pride
and animosity for advancement
has forged weapons
of mass destruction

You know very well
after all said and done
that the world can be
utterly destroyed by
your terrible weapons.

Do not think only of self.....
but also your brothers,
birds, animals
and plants,
for they too
inherited this world
created by God
since the beginning of time.

On bended knees,
with outstretched arms,
tears in eyes,
Mother Nature
petition to the nations
once more -
if not the last

to awaken their consciousness
and save her children
from nuclear disaster
menacing the world

If a mother's plea be heard
please let that be of Mother Nature.

So much distress,
yes so much,
has her heart lived through
why now add more to it?
