Awakened Dream Poem by Owen Albitos

Awakened Dream

I have devoured by pain
I dreamed to be fine
My tormented soul soaked in the rain
Wishing there would be, a friend of mine

I've become an island for a long time
Where no one could ever reach its shore
My heart, still finding its rhyme
But it vanished, what i am for?

But since you've touched me, I've become paradise
Fingerprints are left that can never be erased
If not, all that awaits me is a somber morrow
Wherever the winds may blow,

Awakened from my eternal slumber
Rise as a render
Until the ocean doesn't touch the sand
I will be your friend, to infinity and beyond!
