Away Poem by Jasmine Wayne

Away

Rating: 5.0

A gentle breeze upon my face.
Take me from this wretched place.
Away so far I wish to go.
Where we end I care not know.
Hurry now the dark drifts in.
How could this beauty be a sin?

Like gems in sun the gleam at me.
Dreams of blue they must be free.
An awe so deep, did I pray?
Only an angel could be this way.
To green they turn how is it so?
Swept from your feet we now go.

My hand in yours will hold tight.
Entwined until the morning light.
Away from here, we won't return.
Souls together the truth we learn.
A journey starts a newborn life.
But just one wish, you my wife...

A most beautiful poem... a perfect example of some sort of chance in love that we just can't turn from. I'm sure that special person is out there waiting ^.^
