Away From You Poem by Madeleine Wolf

Away From You

Being away from you,
I don’t know what to do.
I miss you every night,
This space between us isn’t right.

My body longs
To feel yours against mine.
This must be a sign
As to how much I need you.

My fingers to desire
To be run through your hair.
Inside me there
Is a fire
That burns true
For you.

How is it
That I have become
So attached?
For some,
It never happens,
But this feeling,
Needing
Cannot be matched.

Being away from you,
I don’t know what to do.
I miss you every night,
This space between us isn’t right
