Ba - Walk Around A Tree Poem by Starfish ZA

Ba - Walk Around A Tree

Verse 1
Eight hours sitting at a screen,
Doesn't mean eight hours thinking clean.
Requirements, meetings, one more call,
Soon your brain is staring at the wall.

You've mapped the process, chased the scope,
Found three gaps and lost all hope.
Before another workshop starts with 'Why? '
Get out the chair and see the sky.

Chorus
🎵 BA, take some time, walk around a tree,
Give that busy brain a little room to breathe.
Step away, clear your head, let the thinking run free,
Sometimes the best analysis
Starts around a tree. 🎵

Verse 2
User stories, rules and flows,
Dependencies nobody knows.
Someone says, 'Just make it quick, '
Then adds another requirement to the list.

You don't solve it staring harder,
You don't think better working longer.
A little movement, air and light,
And suddenly the answer feels just right.

Chorus
🎵 BA, take some time, walk around a tree,
Leave the Teams call, leave the spreadsheet be.
Walk a little, breathe a little, give your mind some space,
Come back with a clearer view
And put the pieces into place. 🎵

Bridge
Not every hour is thinking time,
Not every meeting adds a dime.
Good analysis needs recovery too
Your brain does better when you let it reboot.

Final Chorus
🎵 BA, take some time, walk around a tree,
Recharge the analyst you need to be.
Less screen time, more clear mind,
Better questions, better clarity.
Work a little smarter
Go walk around that tree! 🌳🎵
