Babel Poem by Mason Maestro

Babel

Rating: 3.0

Much more remains on the subject of Islam
Of Holy War, and Ramadan
Rented flats to the Mullahs and Sheiks
U.N. inspectors shortsighted the leaks
Placement between corruption and gall
Can be seen in the flames of babylons fall
Gilgamesh profile, cut off the line
Blood, sand, wind, fire
A Superceding uprise, jazz, and no shrine
In desert or city, its a shame to blame
The mortal contrast between rags and fame
By defilement laid the brick in sod
A tower to measure mans closeness to God
