Have you ever went through something
And knew that things was over
Have you ever went through something
And felt like you couldn't do nothing

You know you weren't dealing with that
But that something continued to stir
You knew in your mind something strongly sat
And you tried very hard to blur

In back of your mind was doubt
About letting that something go
In back of your mind you didn't let out
That something that no one should know

In back of your mind you held on
To all the wrong that made you feel good
In back of your mind you did postpone
Letting go and moving on like you should

You knew you had to leave it behind
You had to do what was right
You had to remove it from the back of your mind
So you moved on and gave it a fight
