Back To Love Poem by rosalinda flores rosevoc

Back To Love

I was once young, the thought of so many excitements.
In every day and every minute
A fresh whiff of so many scents.
I was not waiting but ‘round were discoveries of riddles.
The list gets longer, seems unending
Just like, "Do it, do it, do it! "
With all my might, I do it.
Time growing, past half the game
Learned and loved trees and tundra
My senses to the centerfold.
And despite strategies,
A rhythm to a dance - with you
A soft flow of yearning, holds me wise
Back to love,
In a youth's impression of sunsets
In the chimes of cathedral bells.
