Close to me,
Silent in touch,
Ever mine.
Quietly,
Emotions
Delight in time.
Fire lights
In the shadows kindle
Wise but young
Stark and bright
Bone and sinew
Of the lands
"One day at a time we live
And for tomorrow, tomorrow,
And tomorrow, " as God said,
in His care
"…we'd live."

I'll hold on to you
Fixed to the sky,
Bubbles of hope
To us would fly.

Ever dear to my heart,
You -
With scarred hands
I will love.
Anything to war or peace
High or low,
In all the ages,
No one, but You.
