A dream, a dream, it was just a bad dream.
The devil sent a demon after me.
In the middle of the night, as I was fast asleep,
And that demon gave me a really bad dream.

Every bad dream is the creation of a demon, as it seems. We do not get sound sleep during nightmares. Thanks for sharing the poem.
