Bad Weather Day Poem by Rita Shay

Bad Weather Day

Rating: 0.5

A fog of woe as swallowed me whole.
I want to escape
But it is everywhere.
It's whisping through my tangly strands of hair
And these clouds that sorrow dragged down,
Are grasping me tight as they can.
I'm breathing it in, its right here
And follows everyday, everywhere.
I know there is sun,
I've felt it's warmth before.
My vision is blurry
Because of all this gray.
There is no sun
That my tired eyes can find.
All I can do is hope
For a good weather day.
