Bahanaga - Trains Collision

Bahanaga
Gajanan Mishra

There at Bahanaga
I feel like rebirth.

Three trains at a time,
Three tracks, when became one.

Horrific the scene really,
All chatting stoped.

Goods train,
Bangalore-Howrah superfast,
Ill-fated Coromandel
All in a sheer stroke of luck.

Chaos there everywhere
Smoke all around
I jumped but where to go
Thanks not better now.

Ask not
I am still not able to
Give any update.

Only I thanks God
I feel rebirth.

( at round 7.30pm on 3rd June 2023 India's worst train tragedy at Bahanaga, Balasore, Odisha, India. More than 300 passengers died as reported. Tales of pain and agony.)

It is really very sad. One of the worst in the history of railways. So many lives lost can't be forgiven.
