Our parents
Made sacrifices
All possible once
For our sake!

Always paid costs
Suffered hardship
Only to rear us up

In reciprocation
We were found
Wanting always
For similar role
Busy with our children

We may bear brunt
Some day, when
We find shattered
Our dreams!
And expectations
Of reciprocation
From our children

We can still balance
The reciprocation
To our parents first
Before it’s too late!
