Bamboozled! Poem by Patience ''Cat'' Williams

Bamboozled!

Don’t do it! Don’t you dare! Stop it’s a test, a trick, a scam! Say those words to me and your lying. I can see right through your pearly white smile. You lie! You lie to me! I can see it in your luscious brown eyes. They tell me that you don’t mean a word you say. They make me wanna shred your skin and make you bleed the truth. Then I’ll see who you really are under that thick layer of lust. Is it a person that’s straight forward and honest? Because all I see on the outside is a three worded lie tattooed across your tongue. But yet, I try to look to the inside. And there I see what you don’t want me to see…the truth. And what I don’t see is those words which can only truly be received from the heavens above. However I seek only that word that one word. That word that should be ripped from pages, scratched from skin, drawn from blood, but not shed from tears. A mess a hot mess, that word is such a mess. And unless coming from God will always, I said always be strained from my voice. And so say again, no you fool don’t say it don’t you dare. It is pain everlasting pain that will always dwell in my memories…….LOVE is a Bamboozle!
