Banished Poem by somebody else

Banished

It is a sad world indeed, when the Lord is outlawed,
and people are ridiculed, to speak of God.
By ones claiming, there is no such thing,
believing nothing but harm, does his myth bring.
But in the pride of their ignorance, do they hide,
and only futher from reality, do they slide.
Because long before we were, his name was,
and constantly persisting, always it does.
The glory of his greatness does not vanish,
and so smug are they, who think to banish.
Say what you will, but you've spoke his name,
and indeed have help, to spread his fame.
For with your words, shall his name pass on,
ensuring that his wonder, is never gone.
But the memory of you, is whats at stake,
for your name from rememberance, can he shake.
So it is best to get out, of your high minded state,
before the truth you face, and it's much to late.
For then to him, will you cry and plea,
but why expect your myth, to answer thee.
