Bantu Boy 63 Poem by Rue Palmer

Bantu Boy 63

In Africas heart, a tapestry unfolds,
a culture rich in stories yet untold
Bantu a people with spirits bright
dancing to rhythms under starry sky

From land of green to deserts wide
Bantus journey with strength and pride,
their language weaves a melody sweet,
a symphony of words, each one a treat.

Through hardship faced my people they stand
as one, resilient souls, under the blazing ki kongo,
in unity, they build and create all empires, a legacy
that transcends fate.

With wisdom passed from age to age
their ancestors wisdom lights the stage in
the circle of life, they find their place s sacred
bond a warm embrace.

So let black people everwhere celebrate the Bantus
grace, their cultures beauty, time cannot erace, for in
their spirit hope will rise a vibrant echo that never dies.
