Bare Poem by Caroline Guedes

Bare

Bare feet
feeling the sand between my toes
feels like summer
another summer alone

Bare hands
holding eachother, fingers entwined
doesn't seem so long ago
that your hand held mine

Bare naked
swimming in a quiet lake
my innocence revealed
always wondering if it was a mistake

Bare soul
I bore all I had to you
perhaps too quickly
now I know you don't want me too

Bare arms
to a sad girl who needs them
I just wanted someone to love me
I will find it, I just don't know when
