Bastiles Break Poem by Bipin Patsani

Bastiles Break

Those arrogant
don't feel ashamed of their errors.
They feel hurt rather
when fingers are pointed at them
for their whims and deals unfair.

For a large majority
who cannot form opinions of their own,
the conscience keeper is not the one
who works according to his conscience,
but a force to reckon with,
he holds as dear and defends all his life
what pundits have shown, no matter what,
and said to be sacrosanct, the road to heaven,
even if it is to uphold snobbery by all means.

Nothing goes on forever except the force of nature.
Bastilles break open and a new order takes over.
