Battle With The Thoughts Poem by R.V YADAV

Battle With The Thoughts

Today, I pause and think of me,
My words reveal my diversity.
If this darkness is my worst side,
How can I explain what's deep inside?
I'm not just good or entirely bad;
I'm tangled in thoughts that make me sad,
Killing the joy I try to find,
Choking the light in my restless mind.

Two nights have passed with no sleep in sight,
Haunted by whispers that fill me with fright:
"To save the world, we must let some go,
Is it worth the price? I just don't know."
My eyes speak the fear of what I could be,
Lost in the shadows, struggling to see.

What can I do to find some peace?
I long for a voice that brings sweet release,
A calming sound that feels far away,
Yet I crave it more with each passing day.

To break through this chaos, I write what I feel,
Pouring my heart out, searching to heal.
By sharing these words, I start to let go,
And finally, after, I find sleep will flow.
