Be Careful Who You Give Your Heart To Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Be Careful Who You Give Your Heart To

Rating: 5.0

With love comes a distorted vision
You search for the impossible perfection's
Truth that once was held so dear to you
Is blinded away and you forget all you knew
Your body aches to always be touched
By the only being that you love so much
Your guard is down as your pulled by the bliss
Never seeing what's around you or knowing what you missed
The pain you'll in dure is the one of lust
Trying so hard to ignore this and to hate it so much
Unseen chains lock upon your frail heart
Praying to someone that they won't tear it apart
Emotions grow stronger but friends are left unseen
Sense are broken and your minds not as keen
The sorrow of life will follow your frame
Twisting and turning in loves little game
But if its fate that brought you together then your bind will never break
And you'll over come any obstacle and know this love isn't fake
