Beaten Coffee & Divinity Poem by Sumita Jetley

Beaten Coffee & Divinity

On a sunny terrace, warm and bright,
Sat two Sufis in the morning light.
Arif and Zara, with hearts so true,
Sipped beaten coffee, thoughts anew.

Arif pondered, with a gentle sigh,
'How do we bring our dreams to the sky? '
Zara smiled, her eyes so kind,
'Creativity flows from a devoted mind.'

'Like dhikr, our thoughts must be, '
'Constant and pure, in harmony.'
'Every sip, each moment we see, '
'Is a step towards our destiny.'

'Patience and love, like this coffee we beat, '
'Turn our visions into a reality sweet.'
'Faith and action, hand in hand, '
'Manifest dreams in this sacred land.'

'Our murshid's teachings, simple and wise, '
'Guide us through life's intricate ties.'
'In simplicity, the divine we find, '
'Creating with a peaceful mind.'

'Align your heart, let intentions be clear, '
'Trust in the process, hold dreams dear.'
'Plant your seeds, let them grow, '
'In time, your garden will surely show.'

And so, on that terrace, calm and serene,
Two Sufis spoke of dreams unseen.
With every word, a truth unfurled,
Creativity and faith, shaping their world.
