Beautiful People - Poem by Constance J. Livernois

When life seems a bit negative
one turns to beautiful people

Who generate a magical wealth
of compassion and understanding

Helping grays turn into rainbows
filling empty places with wonder

Melting away the somber heart
into seeds of kindness and praise

There is peace, a spirit to behold
in the splendor of their offering

The genuine release of sharing
lingers within the soul, the mind

Giving choice to tighten the load
with infinite wisdom and nobility

Th precious memories that unfold
grace new paths to follow

For at that moment in time
one feels hopeful and renewed

For having known these friends
one is rich with their memories

When life seems a bit negative
one turns to beautiful people!
