Beauty Poem by BASAB CHAUDHURI

Beauty

Beauty on the pages of a newspaper
originally came from a photographer,
who put his mind and angle into it
and ensured the place not well-lit.
A little dark, brilliantly made,
All who had seen in one voice said -
digging into black, a little white
there It was, not too bright.
Where is beauty? Asks somebody,
Eyes find just nobody!
There It is, there is none
Here It was, for ever gone.
Beauty, Beauty - where are you?
Comes to life. For only a few.
