Beauty Eternal Poem by Teresa Hooley

Beauty Eternal

To-day I saw a butterfly,
The first-born of the Spring,
Sunning itself upon a bank-
A lovely, tawny thing.

I saw a dandelion, too,
As golden as the sun;
And these will still be beautiful
When all the wars are done.
