Beauty In All. Poem by Adamae Liege

Beauty In All.

The lush green grass beneath my feet
gently, slowly, sways.
The trees are still and unrustled
until the winter days.
The flowers bloom and blossom,
they sprout from their buds,
The rain happily dances
And falls with a soft thud thud.

The sunshine peeks out
from behind soft, fluffy clouds.
The fish swim peacefully by
grouped in wondrous crowds,
The sand flies behind me
I sit and will never forget
The beauty I saw before me
The most wonderful sunset

The stars glow and shine.
They move far above my head.
The moon has not yet gone down,
But I must leave for my bed.
The birds swoop and swerve,
they dive as I head home,
the walk is far between.
But for beauty, I have not far to roam.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sunsets are so pretty. I love to watch all the colors fill the sky all at once then for a few moments you see beauty like nothing else especially if you catch one of the good ones when there are more colors even brighter and prettier then usual but I also love sun rises and I've seen a whole bunch of those

this poem is for my dad who taught me how to see beauty
and that everything has its own type of beauty thank-you dad! ! !

Very good, it makes me want to catch the next sunset as I think I've already missed so many
