Beauty Is The Beast - Poem by Hussain Naveed

Beauty is the Beast

A mother, a protector a guidance.

She shall donate her life for ones
Existence
Her Motherhood is for ever
Persistent
like the flow of a river from source to mouth
Her love will be from the cradle until the grave.

The prideland is her only home
Though other have plans of ownership
To the throne.

Her knowledge is vast as she soon
Understands
The new arrivals only wish to adopt
The land

Her pride is strong, her experience is great there is fear
In her eyes
Though she consumes this
Deep inside

Though the likeliness of death is on her
Mind
She soldiers on to battle which may be for
one last time

Steadfast in her approach and
Ahead of her pride
Valiant and fierce as she warns and threatens
It's not her turn to die.

Ferocious in battle bloody and brutal
The rest of the pride stand bewildered,
Surprised
Little do they know it's nor strength or experience
Keeping her alive

It is motherhood, motherhood
Is her only reason to
Survive.

It shall never fail her
Its loyalty is far too great
It is a bond, a gift, a juel
It shall never be bought, sold or break.

Her battle is a victories one
The threat subsided
Her beautiful cub, Mia safe and sound
Now with her mother
Re-united.
