Beauty With Out Lust Poem by john raymond

Beauty With Out Lust

What is beauty to the eyes of men?
Is it the sun's silhouette over mountains in sand covered desired
Is it a Snow covered night at Christmas time?
It is beauty to be sure but mans eye catch's a beautiful woman
It is God's creation to be sure
Then the LORD God made a woman
From the rib he had taken out of the man,
Is it her eyes her pretty face or body languge we are after?
God said Do not lust in your heart after her beauty
Or let her captivate you with her eyes,
For charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
But a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
It may have it's place but we are called for something more
We know what is beautiful to the flesh can kill you
mistletoe is nice to look at deadly if you eat it
As a kiss is deadlier if you mean it
What is beautiful to GOD a man bleeding on a tree for sin
What did Jesus have that flesh dose not: purity of the heart
Don't let anyone look down on you Because you are young,
But set an example
For the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
When they see the purity and reverence of your lives.
A man will see as God sees with absolute purity.
Older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters,
How dose a man find a wife if all women are as family?
We are called in faith to love a God who is unseen
To love a woman's true beauty for it is unseen
With that same faith we can love a woman
As we serve we will give to the woman as no other
Who serves Christ with her in word and action
We will be as one in Christ our Lord
