Beavers In Love Poem by Mio von Essien

Beavers In Love

A beaver floats in the river's sway,
Another's touch, then slips away.
Alone again, in quiet stream,
A fleeting moment, like a dream
Beaver where have you gone?
I felt your touch now I'm ever alone
Memories linger, soft and light,
See my tears in the stillness of the night.
