Because I'm From Other Tribe Poem by Felix Emeka George

Because I'm From Other Tribe

We dream of been together
That can always be a union.
I am like a Cupid in love trip.
Early morning mist falling from sky
My love moving in my direction.
Now her mother scared
on my runway and
father saying not to take his seat
On the way of our aisle walk,
To the one and only love me lady.
I asked,
Do you think that might never happen.
Because I'm from other tribe, and
I guessed that's my sin.
If the father say he'll never bless our union
Mother says she hate our togetherness.

She is the one I ever love
And I don't want to loose her
If is true you my desire
I won't let her slip of my hands
But she has asked
If our love should caused her whole family
I see she never know how much
She means to me,
I know I would never have her.
