Because Of Him Poem by Heather Rhoden

Because Of Him

Rating: 2.5

She had lost her youth.
Oh, how she cried,
And wondered why it was to be.
And he did it to her why?
She felt all alone
For she knew not
Why, like her innocence, everyone had gone.
And for what?
To get away from her?
To get away from the shame?
Did they even care
About all her pain?
Why did they have to leave?
How could they leave her behind
With a wolf dressed as a sheep?
Did it even matter why?
She missed them
And theyhad left
Just because of him.
Because of him,
Death was her only escape,
To get away from him,
To get away from the pain.
With a knife to the wrists,
She was set free.
Free to get away from the part of him
That everyone couldn't see.
