Because Of The Night And Of The Stars Poem by Ryan John Payne

Because Of The Night And Of The Stars

Because of the night and of the stars,
Silence dispels the awful gloom
That once surrounded my impervious heart,
But now dejection lies entombed.
The night and stars have shown their might,
And I salute the starry shade
That etched its way into my sight,
Since silence now keeps fear afraid.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was watching the night sky and marvelled at the stars in the heavens and how beautiful it all was, with the moon and clouds as well as the stars in the heavens.
