Before The Storm Poem by Sahar Alive

Before The Storm

The air grows crisp
And cold
Electricity silently hums
And there's a hint of danger

Before the storm,
The creatures hide
The birds stop singing
Concealing themselves
Before the storm

Before, the storm,
Birdsong stops
Frogs don't croak
And it becomes silent as
Death

Look for the signs
Before the storm
Signs of danger, of
Silence,
Hidden notes that warn you
Before the storm

Look for the signs
Before the storm
Hide yourself,
Protect yourself
Look for the signs
So you will know
Before the storm
