Beginning to an ending-
A myriad of thoughts rush into my head as I wonder,
Wonder how we used to be kids and all so tender.
We began our journey, crying, not wanting to leave home;
Little did we know we'd find ourselves a new home, a new family where we once, were afraid to step in.
We played and laughed, but also sighed and wept,
Learned new things, found new friends, and memories impalpable made.
When we now leave school, we leave behind our chosen family,
But the mellifluous journey we shall hold close to our chests forever.
As I now look into the night sky, a myriad of thoughts rush into my head as I wonder,
How we are all grown but yet so tender,
How we still cry not wanting to leave home, but this time a different one.
