Today we part
on the wings of promise,
the harmattan leaves
carried on dry wind,
we couldn't say goodbye.
O, Lynda!
though we crave,
we couldn't catch-up the wind
rustle in the barren tree.
Still the shadow lingers -
That shadow shaded -
when we chat and hug
without awareness.
May the flavour reign,
and let the memory endure
Till we meet or never.
