behind the eyes

A girl has a dream, a dream that could take her far, a dream that she has longed for since the very begging. a dream she taste breaths a dream she sees flashing before her eyes, a dream that can rescue her from this nightmare she lives in. she hides behind her own eyes hides behind the glass thinking no one can see, see past the hard tough shy shell she puts out there. this dream she has is all she has inside. its all she has ever wanted ever cared for. but she cant get past the glass to achieve it.. she knows times going by and she knows has to but she cant she sacred, fearful that she will fail, fail like so many times she has done before. she fears this dream that keeps her up at night. even though this dream is so far away, and out of her reach it so close in her heart. she runs to it but doesn't get close to it as she tries and reaches for it it knocks her down again and again.
she keeps her face down in the crowd she doesn't glance at the different faces walking past her she doesn't want them to see see through the glass and into her broken eyes, to the only dream locked inside. she doesn't want anyone to see old dried up tears from last night. all she wants is a chance just one last, first chance to make it right to look fear right in the eyes and walk proud and show all, this dream this dream that's i her eyes.
