Behold, Lucifer Is Jealous! Poem by Dieko Olufemi

Behold, Lucifer Is Jealous!

With jealousy in his heart,
Lucifer looked and said out loud 'I was that beautiful'.
I looked in curiosity and your beauty somehow managed to softly lighten up my face.
Her spunky angelic skin glowing like a gem
Dropped my jaw in amazement, leaving me speechless as I continued to stare for a couple of minutes, lost in thoughts.

Verily, she hath thou, like a work of art
Such a perfect view.
Her cheeky personality,
Her well structured face,
Her dazzling eyes softened in love,
Her captivating smile
Her enchanting lips that summon me while I always try to resist,
Her heavenly body,
Gosh! Such an Angel!
Her angelic voice.
Her breathtaking body that is it's own deodorant,
Her divine self.

Verily, behind the charming look and gorgeous eyes
Is a heart whose love is innocent
Her inward magnificence would break a measuring scale.
It's been just a week, yet feels like eternity
Each minute counts and her pert yet calm demeanour keeps her voice re-echoing in my head.
Behold, she walk through into my life with an unexplainable
Joy.
O'erwhelming joy that o'erflows.
Yearning for your love is I that needs you like a heart needs a beat.
