Behold The True Friend Poem by Helen Weatherly

Behold The True Friend

Behold the true friend who is often around,
They laugh hard and loud with you, to wash away your frown,
They cheer you up when you are feeling down
They see through you smile, right through to your cares
They listen you your woes and you listen to theirs

Beware the false friend who spread rumours and lies
You get to spot them soon and become very wise,
They cannot wait to bring bad news to your door
And that makes them rotton to the core
They do this as they are jealous of you or your success,
However they do not realise that they are a mess

Rejoice in the true friends whom are very wise
as they are real angels in disguise
If you are reading this now then you are a true friend
and I hope our friendship never ends
